Garfield 2; Labrae 3 @ Garfield.

Saturday, 8/30/14. Labrae scored first when they sent a nice Corner Kick into the box that Mike Stassinis headed into the goal. Garfield tied the score before half when senior Ante Dejanovic converted a Penalty Kick because of a Labrae hand-ball in the box. 

In the 2nd half Garfield took the lead when Zach Gorby sent a Corner Kick across the box that Issac Cumberledge put into the corner of the goal. Then Jason Downey made a nice chip shot goal to tie the game at 2. Disaster struck with about a minute left in the game when Labrae was awarded a Free Kick. The kick was sent forward and a Garfield player accidentally kicked it into their own net for an OWN goal and the game winner.  Garfield's record falls to 2-1-1 overall.
