Tuesday, 9/09/14. Woodridge scored first when they sent a nice pass into the box that Matt Tannous one touched into the goal less than 5 minutes into the game. Garfield tied the score before half when senior Zad Lenart made a great move and buried the shot from the left side.

In the 2nd half Garfield took the lead when Ante Dejanovic sent a Free Kick from the other side of the field into the box that Noah Reider put into the corner of the goal from the right side. Then Matt Tannous fell to the ground as he was nearing the box... and Woodridge was awarded a Penalty Kick that Caleb Whitaker scored on the tie the score at 2 . Disaster struck with 1:19 left in the game when Woodridge was awarded a Free Kick right after Woodridge had kicked the ball out of bounds. The kick was sent to forward Matt Tannous who appeared of-fsides, but the ref allowed the goal and the G-Men suffered another heartbreaker.  Garfield's record falls to 3-3-1 overall.
